Developing mental health services for veterans in England
Wed 10th February 2016
If you are an armed forces veteran who has suffered mental health illness, your views are wanted on the NHS help that is available.
NHS England wants to hear about people’s experience and views of services and explore the reasons why some veterans have not sought or received support and treatment.
There are 12 mental health services across England specifically for veterans. Most of the contracts for these services will end in September 2016, so this provides an opportunity to ask people what they think of them to help ensure future services best meet the needs of ex-service personnel, regardless of when they leave the armed forces.
